On Monday evening we met at Pangbourne. Being our late Summer meeting we thought numbers would be low. That couldn’t have been further from the truth we had 27 at the meeting and 24 to dine. That number included 4 Active Provincial Officers. All proceedings were conducted by our DC, newly promoted Grand Officer W Bro Kevin Dodd.

The Worshipful Master, W Bro Phil Cottrell in his wisdom had a trick up his sleeve. He not only invited the DPGM. He topped that; by asking the PGM to present his lecture “King Solomon’s Temple and the Companion Orders.”

Which RW Bro Graham Seeman, Provincial Grand Master of Mark Master Masons – Berkshire, presented with a great depth of knowledge. To say we were all enlightened at its conclusion is an understatement.

W Bro Alan Spearman had even managed to persuade the Golf Club to conjure up a light Ham Salad for dinner. We raised a goodly sum for Charity. A great evening was had by all.
