The Berkshire Masonic Provincial Golf Society (BMPGS) held their annual Ladies Night and Presentation Dinner at Castle Royal Golf Club on Friday 20th January 2017. Once again they invited the Provincial Grand Master of the Craft, RW Bro Martin Peters (1st right) and the Provincial Grand Master of the Mark, RW Bro Richard Olliver (1st Left) so that they could once again present them both with cheques for their respective charities.
Pictured above the Captain of the BMPGS, Ken Ramsden (middle), is seen presenting the cheques to both parties. This was the third cheque that RW Bro Richard had received from the BMPGS and once again he was extremely pleased in being invited to the presentation dinner to receive it.
This year the BMPGS donated a further cheque of £1600.00 and has now donated a total of £5800.00 to the Berkshire Mark Festival 2017 in 3 years. The Mark Province of Berkshire is the sponsoring Province for the 2017 Mark Benevolent Fund Festival which culminates at a festival dinner being held at Trunkwell House, Beech Hill, Reading on Saturday 8th July 2017. This fund is raising money to assist the Mark Benevolent Fund in donating up to 10 mobile chemotherapy units to the charity Hope for Tomorrow who them pass them onto the NHS.
In response RW Bro Richard thanked the members of the society, once again, for their incredable generousity and assured them that it was thankfully received and it would be faithfully applied.
