Forty Brethren logged in to Berkshire & Oxfordshire Installed Mark Master’s Lodge No. 1330 first Virtual Business Meeting on Friday 23rd October which was presided over by W.Bro. Les Langley, P.G.Std.B.
A eulogy to our Past Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro. Alan Brunning was given by his successor R.W.Bro. Peter Sands, with some personal additions from our current Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Richard Olliver.
W.Bro. Les Langley was re-elect as Worshipful Master, the first time, in the Lodges history that a Master has served a second term. V.W. Bro. Mike Sanders, P.G.J.O. was elected as Master Elect for 2021/22 and it is hoped that by the next regular meeting in May that circumstances will enable his installation as Master.
The lodge welcomed two new joining members W.Bro’s. Paul Tomlinson, Prov.A.G.D.C. and Dr. Matthew Coward.
FollowImg the meeting the Secretary received two enquires about the regular Provincial Tuesday night call from Brethren who had enjoyed the VBM much more that they had envisaged.
I think this sums up the manner in which the VBM concept and its execution on Friday were received by the Brethren.
