The PGM RW Bro Richard Olliver, GMRAC was at his own Mark Lodge on Tuesday 17th January 2017 to witness Bro Lionel Higgins (far left) being Advanced into Mark Masonry by the Worshipful Master, W Bro Don Grant (2nd from right). It was a very special evening as the PGM had been trying to encourage Bro Lionel, PPGScribe E, Past 3rd Provincial Grand Principal, to join for a number of years, but where he had failed Bro Jem Whitmore, 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, also a member, had triumphed. The Lodge room was full to witness this occasion and Bro Lionel was heard to say he enjoyed the ceremony very much and would look to bring other Masons into the Degree.
Also on the evening the PGM presented W Bro Alan Bell (far right) with the collarette of a Vice Patron of the Mark Benevolent Fund for which the PGM thanked W Bro Alan for his personal generosity.
