BeMBA Donates £200 to the Crowthorne Old Age to Teens Society (COATS)
22nd May 2018

Following the recent decision by the Berkshire Mark Benevolent Association (BeMBA) to expand their remit to include local charities and good causes the committee were delighted to approve a donation of £200 to the Crowthorne Old Age to Teens Society (COATS) which runs a day centre for older people in the Crowthorne area, including a minibus for those who don't have transport to be able to get there.

W.Bro. Bob Watson, Prov.G.M.O., who brought this worthy cause to BeMBA's attention visited COATS to present the cheque in person.
This is the first time that BeMBA has donated money to an external organisation and we hope that it will encourage more of you to come forward with suggestions of other good causes which would benefit from our support in the form of a modest donation. To qualify, the organisation must operate within the boundaries of the Mark Province of Berkshire and be supported by a member of a Berkshire Mark or RAM lodge.
Please get in touch either through your lodge BeMBA rep or with me directly if we can help.

V.W.Bro. Graham Seeman, P.G.J.O., Dep.P.G.M.
Chairman, BeMBA"
